They seem to do a good business and the staff was very helpful in ordering and pleasant when delivering the food. We ordered a biscuit and eggs with a cappuccino and french toast. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table. Turn to the left and follow the path to the counter. There are tables inside and a small patio on the south end of the building. She had lived in the area and this was one of the first places that she suggested when she heard we were visiting. This is a restaurant that was recommended to me by a friend from my work. My husband got the Filthy Animal ($14), said it was good, but would try something else next time. I love garlic but it was too much for me - worth a try though. I also tried the Garlic Paprika butter which was WOW. For sides, I tried my NC niece’s two favorites - Pimento Cheese Grits (I’m not a pimento cheese person but really liked them) and Sriracha Slaw (also not a coleslaw person, but it was interesting and not very spicy, happy to have tried but wouldn’t get again). My favs were the Sweet Potato Chai and Strawberry jams, but I also enjoyed the Apple Pie (they have little plastic cups so you can try a variety). hard to decide, but I got the Full Breakfast ($11) so that I could sample two sides and have the large plain biscuit as a canvas to try the many jams at the jam bar. So glad they did - really enjoyed the casual ambiance, friendly service, and delicious food. They recommended Biscuit Head where they ate regularly during their move / home renovation.
